Curated by Sarah Tulloch.
mish•mash proudly presents gal•li•mau•fry – a dish made of leftovers.
Thursday 16th February
Pre-preview critique: 6-7pm
Preview: 7pm-late

Exhibition continues:
Friday 17th – Sunday 19th February
12 – 6pm

Come and feast on the delectable delights of an object/image medley created especially for Motorcade/FlashParade.
mish•mash artists collect objects and images with junkshop origins and re-categorize them with a self-imposed logic. We cut, break, fold, fuse, add, subtract and re-arrange. The artists’ treatment of the source material creates a disconcerting undertone to a beguiling and playful world.

New Blog

December 9, 2010

Back in October I was succesful in my appliaction for AA2A (Artists Access to Art Colleges) at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne.

The scheme is nationwide and allows artists the opportunity to access an art college in order to use facilities to enhance their work.

The AA2A scheme has a website where other AA2A atists can share images of their work, thoughts and progress on their placement, through blogs, images and message boards. The web site is visible to people who are not on the scheme so they can follow the blog posts of artists.
