The Domestic Light Orchestra performed

on November 28th 2008, at Newcastle’s Star and Shadow Cinema

as part of the 6th Annual LifeWork Art Conference

The Orchestra from left to right were:

Andrew Wilson – Toothbrush, gargling, nasal hair trimmer and cutlery

Emma Cummins – Alarm clock, typewriter, blender and microwave

Katie Bamford – Crisps, hairdryer, money and money box

Amie Nowlan – Newspaper, hoover, grater and vegetable

Kate Stobbart – Cereals, burnt toast and pepper grinder

Peter-Ashley Jackson – Light conduction

Domestic Light Orchestra performed at Cafe 29 on the 9th of April as part of the launch event for ART LAND Festival, in Bishop Auckland, County Durham.

The DLO generated a raucous in this stylish Bishop Auckland cafe, making for a most memorable evening. We had a great reception from all who attended.

Amie Nowlan – Alarm clock, newspaper, hoover, grater and sauce bottle

Fran Arnold – Napkins, blender with cookies and milk and straw in a glass

Peter-Ashley Jackson – Light conduction and microwave with popcorn
